Hedland High School Hackathon

The WEB is proud to announce that it is partnering with Perth coworking space Spacecubed to bring a school hackathon to Port Hedland. Approximately 80 Year 8-11 students from Hedland Senior High School will come together at the Youth Involvement Centre (YIC) to spend two days creating business ideas. Similar events have been held with great success in Perth, and at Maker + Co in Bunbury. The event is scheduled for 10-11th May 2018.

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an event where people come together to solve a problem, generally over a short period of time. A hackathon focuses on thinking big, customer interviews and validation, and culminates in a final pitch to a panel of local industry judges.
