The purpose of the WEB is to promote the growth and diversification of the East Pilbara business community through the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce Inc. and funding partners.
The WEB will provide targeted support for businesses with the purpose of accelerating their development and enhancing their long-term sustainability with a particular focus on management, financial, office accommodation (coworking), training and technology. The innovation space at the WEB is intended to increase business activation through coworking, training, and growing a community of entrepreneurs.
The Port Hedland CCI, in partnership with BHP, the Pilbara Development Commission and Royalties for Regions, is proud to present a vibrant, distinctive and commercially sustainable facility for the people of Port Hedland and the wider Pilbara region. The WEB Business Hub is an exciting, safe, inviting and progressive space - a focal asset of which the Port Hedland community can always be proud.
The WEB is an inclusive, accessible and welcoming space for the local business community, celebrating a diversity of culture, heritage and art. It provides opportunities for the business community to both host and participate in a range of entrepreneurial and learning activities. All businesses and community members are encouraged to register their interest in utilising the WEB.
The PHCCI is undergoing an extensive transformation to become a vibrant business hub for innovation and entrepreneurial business growth. The WEB is a diverse, active and lively place that exudes vitality and atmosphere. Beginning with the launch party, the WEB will play host to a diverse program of events, activities and networking opportunities. The WEB hosts something for everyone at any stage of business. The innovation space at the WEB offers commercial and social opportunities for all members of the community. A state-of-the-art facility, the innovation space will provide local and visiting innovators with access to internet, flexible office spaces, a space for meetings and training sessions, and dedicated co working space. These facilities are offered to the public through a mix of one-off, short-term or long-term hiring and rental agreements.
